AMCs Preacher is headed back to television for another season of off-the-wall amazingness. But you might be saying, This show looks friggin weird! What the hell is going on? Well, Im a die-hard Preacher fan and Im here to get you up to speed on everything you need to know about Preacher.Preacher is based on the comic book series written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by Steve Dillon. The story surrounds Jesse Custer, a preacher in the small town of Annville, Texas who has lost his faith. One night, he is possessed by a powerful spirit called Genesis. Genesis is the offspring that was formed when an angel and a demon got busy. It was contained in Heaven and watched over by two angels, DeBlanc and Fiore, but escaped and has made its home inside Jesse.Genesis gives Jesse a power known as the Word of God. Basically, if he tells you do something, you are compelled to do it. In the television series, Jesse decides to use this power to try and save his dwindling congregation. When that fails, he finds a way to call up Heaven directly and speak to the Almighty himself. Turns out that God has abandoned his throne and no one knows where he is. So Jesse decides to use his power to travel America, find God, and make him answer for well, everything.Jesse is joined by Tulip, a vicious but lovable criminal and former girlfriend of Jesses. He also has his new pal Cassidy along for the ride. Cassidy just happens to be a 119 year-old vampire on the run from a group of vampire hunters. Fun! To make matters more interesting, DeBlanc and Fiore have enlisted the soul of a murderous cowboy, known as the Saint of Killers, to hunt down Jesse and pry Genesis out of him.There are some more surprises in store but I dont wanna spoil yall on that fun. Instead, make sure to glue your peepers on Preacher when it hits the boob tube on June 25.

Based on the popular cult comic book franchise of the same name, Preacher is an absurdly twisted and action-packed thrill ride. When Jesse Custer, a small-town preacher with a criminal past, realises God is absent from Heaven, Jesse sets out to find Him. Along for the ride are Tulip, Jesse's volatile true love, and Cassidy, a 119-year-old Irish vampire, who is Jesse's best mate. The gang ends up in New Orleans, where they must dodge local gangsters, dangerous secret agents in white suits and the Saint of Killers, an unstoppable murderous cowboy from Hell.

The new Cars 3 trailer from animation giants Disney and Pixar has revealed more gorgeous-looking snippets from the film. Most notably, there's a closer look at Lightning McQueen rival, new kid on the block Jackson Storm. One of the "next generation of high-tech racers", Jackson Storm seems unbeatable  and he's cocky with it."You have no idea what a pleasure it is for me to finally beat you," the sleek, black model says to McQueen's old-school red racing car. McQueen replies, "Did you say meet or beat?"To which Storm retorts, "I think you heard me."The trailer shows us Lightning McQueen's efforts to keep up with the new technology all around him. They now use treadmills, wind tunnels, virtual reality and interactive race simulation to train/test cars, and it's something he struggles to get to grips with.The best sequence of the trailer shows a brief glimpse of McQueen apparently repairing himself in what seems to be an homage to John Carpenter's Christine. The film is out on June 16 in the US and July 14 in the UK.

In The Boys gibt es keine klare Gut-und-Böse-Trennung. Am Ende ist nahezu jedes der Überwesen ein Arschloch und trinkt Wein obwohl er Wasser predigt. TV-Heiland Ezekiel predigt das Christentum, denunziert Homosexuelle und in seiner Freizeit bezahlt er Männer für Sex. Die Supes vergewaltigen, töten und setzen sich über nahezu jedes Gesetz hinweg.
