SING STREET takes us back to 1980s Dublin seen through the eyes of a 14-year-old boy named Conor (Ferdia Walsh-Peelo) who is looking for a break from a home strained by his parents relationship and money troubles, while trying to adjust to his new inner-city public school where the kids are rough and the teachers are rougher. He finds a glimmer of hope in the mysterious, ber-cool and beautiful Raphina (Lucy Boynton), and with the aim of winning her heart he invites her to star in his bands music videos. Theres only one problem: hes not part of a bandyet. She agrees, and now Conor must deliver what hes promised - calling himself Cosmo and immersing himself in the vibrant rock music trends of the decade, he forms a band with a few lads, and the group pours their heart into writing lyrics and shooting videos. Inspired by writer/director John Carneys (ONCE, BEGIN AGAIN) life and love for music, SING STREET shows us a world where music has the power to take us away from the turmoil of everyday life and transform us into something greater.

You may have admired the lovely and talented Inbar Lavi in Sons of Anarchy, or TNT's The Last Ship. You might have even heard her sing on MTV's Underemployed. But you probably wouldn't have guessed that she's a HUGE Hanson fan. We talked to Inbar about her upcoming role in FOX's Prison Break revival, in which she plays a Yemeni activist. The Israeli-American actress says she's glad she learned so much about the country of Yemen while making the series. A koala named Buster (Matthew McConaughey), trying to keep keep his theater from being closed, holds a singing contest -- along with his sheep friend Eddie (John C. Reilly) -- to raise money, and the entire town auditions for a part in the show. The leading five are an overworked pig named Rosita (Reese Witherspoon) with her pig partner named Gunter (Nick Kroll), an arrogant and gambling white mouse named Mike (Seth MacFarlane), a punk-rock porcupine named Ash (Scarlett Johansson), a timid teenage elephant named Meena (Tori Kelly), and a British gorilla named Johnny (Taron Egerton), who wants to sing instead of following his father's criminal footsteps.
