Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic. Play as Deacon St. John, a Drifter and bounty hunter who rides the broken road, fighting to survive while searching for a reason to live.

Yes gamers, it’s that time of year once again - our Christmas has almost arrived. Every June all the biggest game publishers and console makers converge in sunny Los Angeles for the world’s biggest gaming event - E3. E3 2018 Kicks off this Saturday, so prepare yourself for more game announcements than you can shake a controller at.

While third party developers like EA, Square Enix, Activision and Ubisoft will undoubtedly be bringing the good, it’s the three main console manufacturers that most gamers will be salivating over.

With only days to go until their conferences, we sat down and went over what fans can expect to see from Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft. We know you’re all very busy though, so we decided to do a whirlwind summary of what games are confirmed to make an appearance as well as the rumours that have been doing the rounds online.

E3 2018: What to expect from the big 3

The open-world post-apocalyptic adventure game that is Days Gone is one of Sony's big budget games and the more we see of it, the more horrifying it gets. In a good way. The latest Days Gone trailer is following that trend too, with a focus on the game's combat, which toes the line between stealth and all-out warfare with traps, guns and other distraction tactics for the still human foes. because, of course, this is a zombie game where the undead move in fast, violent packs that are listening out every moment for their next meal.And it seems the pandemic that swept the land didn't just affect humans. The animals like wolves and bears aren't immune either and protagonist Deacon St. John is going to have a bit of a fight on his hands, whichever way he turns.
