Its the final film in the Maze Runner trilogy, and it looks set to be the grittiest. Its release date was put back almost a year to allow star Dylan OBrien to fully recover from the injury he sustained on set. And this first-look trailer showcases the kinds of spectacular stunts that OBrien fell prey to.With a focus on a sequence involving a train hurtling at top speed through a barren landscape, theres more than a touch of Mad Max about this. And not just because both are dystopian actioners. Heres our pick of the trailers most Mad Max moments.Three years we spent behind walls trying to break out and now we want to break back in, says Thomas Brodie Sangsters Newt. Alright, I get shotgun.It cuts to a jeep speeding alongside a high-speed cargo train, with Jorge and Brenda buckling up inside.These battered all-terrain vehicles arent a million miles away from those in Mad Max either.Dylan OBrien Jumps From a Moving CarThe next shot is of an all-terrain vehicle riding along behind the train in the same desolate landscape. OBriens Thomas emerges, clinging onto the roof of the moving vehicle to attach a hook to the back of the train. He succeeds. As he leaps for the in-motion train, the car flips and winds up on its roof.Revisit practically any part of Mad Max: Fury Road and youll see similar stunts.Incidentally, this could well be the sequence that resulted in OBriens accident, since we know it was when he was on a moving vehicle when it happened. The harness that was holding him malfunctioned, pulling him off, and he was hit by another vehicle.Channeling FuriosaNext, theres a troop of armed, armoured men running along the top of the train, and Brenda shoots at them out of the top of the off-road vehicle shes riding in, driven by Jorge. Shes definitely a little bit Furiosa. The bad guys shoot back. There are explosions. Snap.Its Got a Grimy Looking VinceOK, so hes not exactly Fury Roads Immortan Joe but Right Arm leader Vince definitely has more than ever a look of some of the other unwashed dudes from the Mad Max films here.Max Rockatansky meets Mitch RappThats right. Two roles combine when O Brien takes a sensibly stable stance to fire rounds from a handgun atop a shipping container thats being airlifted. All of a sudden, hes in American Assassin again  as CIA operative Mitch Rapp. But theres no denying the resemblance to Tom Hardys Max Rockatansky too.Also notable is the peculiar futuristic yet functional flying vehicle here  there are weird and wonderful vehicles in Mad Max, too.In the epic finale to the Maze Runner saga, Thomas leads his group of escaped Gladers on their final and most dangerous mission yet. To save their friends, they must break into the legendary Last City, a WCKD-controlled labyrinth that may turn out to be the deadliest maze of all. Anyone who makes it out alive will get answers to the questions the Gladers have been asking since they first arrived in the maze.Maze Runner: The Death Cure hits screens in January 2018.

Reports that the next Star Wars spin-off after the untitled Han Solo movie will focus on Obi-Wan Kenobi have got a lot of fans very excited. Ewan McGregor stepped into the role for the much-maligned prequel trilogy, following in the footsteps of Alec Guinness who appeared in the original trilogy and was Oscar nominated for his work. But is it time to oust McGregor in favour of some new blood? Kim and Tom have a heated debate.

Should Ewan McGregor Be Replaced In the Obi-Wan Spin-Off?

Director James Gunn has gone on record as saying Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is Yondus story as much as it is anybody elses. He told Sci Fi Now that the blue-skinned Ravager is honestly one of the stars if not the star of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2. Lets just pause right here to issue a SPOILER WARNING before we carry on. In the film, we not only learn a lot more about Yondu, we also see him  sadly  meet his death. While we might bemoan the fact that this could mean the end of Yondus involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, lets just stop and consider the fact that this is a comic-book movie. In the world of comics, dead doesnt always mean dead. You know that, we know that. And thats exciting. It means that a return for Yondu isnt out of the question, and since Gunn loves the character, we asked actor Michael Rooker who plays Yondu in both Guardians films whether hed like to see his character return. My mortgage would like to see Yondu come back, laughs Rooker. I would personally love to see Yondu come back. Yondu is a great character, cool role. I had fun with it, and yeah, nothing wrong with that. Thats an all-out yes. And while Rooker teases that Yondu could come back in the future, it doesnt have to transpire that he comes back from the dead. We suggest that a prequel movie could be the answer. You know prequels are funny, says Rooker. How far back would you have to go? Youd have to get someone else to play Yondu, we dont have a lot of time for a prequel. This boy aint getting any younger! You better start casting tomorrow, man. We point out that they de-aged Kurt Russell in GOTG2  technology they could apply to Rooker. Oh, thats a great idea! he says. Watch the interview above.
