There's a new team at Ubisoft called SpectreVision and their one goal is to bring new and hugely immersive experiences to virtual reality. Transference is the first of these games and it's one backed by Elijah Wood himself. It's going to be a psychological thriller that attempts to bridge the gap between movies and games, focused on the destructive tale of a man's obsession. You'll be tasked with escapng a maze-like puzzle that conceals a corrupted truth within a digital consciousness of troubled case subjects. It's coming in 2018 to all major VR platforms and looks like quite the mindf*ck.

It's an online PvP naval open world game set during the Golden Age of Piracy in the exotic and untamed frontier of the Indian Ocean. You'll be captain of your own ship with your buddies looking to become the wealthiest sea-farer in the world.

We caught up with Project Manager Carlos Verlee Vazquez to discuss Steep, the upcoming open-world action sports game being developed by Ubisoft Annecy. Vazquez gives us an overview of how the game's open world will work, and how players can transition seamlessly between four different sports on the mountain: wingsuit, snowboarding, paragliding, and skiing. He also discusses Steep's social and multiplayer features, and how you can play with and challenge your friends. Finally, Vazquez shows us how the game lives up to its Steep moniker by explaining the game's physics and trick systems. Steep is available Dec. 2 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
