Guild Wars 2 players have been following a seriously epic storyline since the game launched in 2012. The massively multiplayer online role-playing game has taken the inhabitants of its virtual world across the realm of Tyria, as they struggle against the Elder Dragons who have taken over the world.

Developer ArenaNet has doled new bits of action and adventure in the form of regularly released seasons and episodes it collectively calls the “Living World.” The game is now three episodes deep into Season 4, with the next episode launching soon. Watch the video above for a rundown of what's happened in Season 4 so far.

'American Gods' Season 2 Trailer

Guild Wars 2's unique, TV-like approach to content updates continues in Episode 3 of Season 4, entitled "Long Live the Lich." The story, unsurprisingly, focuses on the villainous, theatrically inclined lich Palawa Joko. Also included in this update for the long-running MMO are a new legendary warhorn, a new map (Domain of Kourna), and a new fractal called the Deepstone. It also introduces a new mount called the Roller Beetle, which is just as amazing as it sounds.

Guillermo del Toro's magical Netflix series Trollhunters is a massive success (count 'em SEVEN Daytime Emmy nominations!). It's an original story being told in a world of remakes. But the world may be unaware that late actor Anton Yelchin voiced the main character of the show, Jim Lake Jr. Now we have some insight straight from the showrunners on how they'll handle the replacement of Yelchin.
