Buried discreetly inside the narrative of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story are a number of references, cameos and Easter eggs that harken back to other films and TV series in the Star Wars franchise. Have you caught them all? We think we have and we've put this video together to share them with you.

It seems The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus is a bit of a magpie when it comes to props. Hes admitted he likes to take stuff after a days filming on the zombie apocalypse show. To be fair, show boss Greg Nicotero is fully aware  and even facilitates his acquisition of things both weird and well, lets just stop at weird.Instead of collecting shiny things, though, the actor  who plays the tough but sensitive Daryl Dixon on the show  has nabbed a host of strange and macabre but, lets face it, pretty cool things. One of his takeaways is the actual facial hair of his co-star.So whats he got? For starters, Reedus tells us that Greg Nicotero has given him Johnny Depps head and two penises. The head we knew about but the penises?Nicotero clarifies: You have Jamie Foxxs penis and Mark Wahlbergs penis.We presume theyre talking about prosthetic appendages, and its likely that the members in question are from the sets of movies Boogie Nights and Django Unchained, both of which Nicotero fulfilled special make up effects supervisor duties for. Johnny Depps head, in case you dont know, is a little easier to explain  in episode 12, called Not Tomorrow Yet, of Season 6 it appears alongside two other severed heads collected when the gang go out to find a head that looks like Hilltop leader, Gregory. But it seems Norman is just getting started: Ive got Herschels hair  Ive got his ponytail. Ive got Andy [Lincolns] beard in my refrigerator in a bag.Herschel met a memorable end at the hands of the Governor in Season 4. Andrew Lincolns Rick Grimes, of course, is still very much alive  but we all remember the moment he shaved off his impressive beard. Now partially regrown, it was a video of Rick with his full beard that prompted villain Negan to say, I would not have messed with that guy.Anything else youd like to share, Norman? Well, yes, now you mention it: I have the skull with the spinal chord hanging out of it.He also admits to keeping the tortoise shell from episode 2 of Season 6  remember when Enid ate a tortoise? But then I wrote a love note to Emily [Kinney who played Beth on the show] and gave it to her  like, thanks for that episode, he says. Why Are People Tuning Out of 'The Walking Dead'?

Going back to watch The Walking Dead again from the start, like I did recently, causes you to evaluate many things. One of which is the way that walkers have changed throughout the duration of the show. We spoke to the shows executive producer and director Greg Nicotero about the evolution of walkers in The Walking Dead. Nicotero, who has a rich background in special make up effects, told us that although the shows walkers are there primarily to further the story, he loves to throw some cool zombies in there from time to time because he loves being able to design some weird stuff.Like the recent spiked walker  named Winslow  from episode 10 of Season 7. It came out of an early conversation with [showrunner] Scott Gimple, he says. I was thinking about the original Planet of the Apes when theyre going through the desert and they see the scarecrows and there were these weird, creepy, foreboding images. And Scott said: Oh, we might have this walker thats like an art installation inside this garbage dump. So we took a motorcycle gas tank and made the helmet out of it.Nicotero says that this season has been an epic one for creative zombies. Even the walkers in the first episode that were crushed by the log pile that was on fire, he says. We had a lot of blistering and sloughing-off skin. And then the walkers on the bridge in episode 6 with Tara. We went for a more desiccated, mummified look  they were all dried out because they were under that pile of sand. Its been a great opportunity to keep changing it up season after season and this year weve had a lot of great opportunities.So how will the walkers continue to evolve in future seasons? We know that walkers continue to decay over time I know what well never see. Well never see walking skeletons, says Nicotero.Why? Find out when you watch the video above.

One of the biggest talking points around The Walking Dead is who might die next. With Season 7 gearing up for its finale, we spoke to the cast of the show to find out who their characters would most hate to lose.  For Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl Dixon, it was a surprise choice.  Probably Rick for Daryl, says Reedus. I think hes probably the closest person in that group to him. I think he would just go apes**t. I think he would just start wrecking stuff, and then he would cry like a baby. Fans of The Walking Dead might have expected his answer to be Carol. Hes certainly shared a lot with Melissa McBrides badass zombie slayer, and theres a segment of fans whod love to see Daryl and Carol link up romantically. Even show boss Greg Nicotero was surprised at his response. Rick is like the brother that Merle was never, adds Reedus. Of course, if you remember, Daryl's brother on The Walking Dead, Merle (played by Michael Rooker), entered the show with Dixon Jr. in Season 1. The siblings had a dysfunctional relationship, and Merle ended up dying at the hands of the Governor in Season 3. It was left to Daryl to finish off Merle after he turned into a walker in an emotional scene. For Josh McDermitt, who plays fan-favourite Eugene, its Rosita whos currently preparing to embark on a suicide mission to tackle Negan with Sasha. Shes like a sister to him, says McDermitt. A sister he would love to sleep with. Oh yeah? Theres just a way hes attracted to her, Josh explains. Its this weird situation: someone hes been travelling with forever and he loves her tremendously. Thats why he didnt want to make that bullet for her  because he knew that she could get hurt and he didnt want that to happen. For Tom Payne, who plays Jesus, its Maggie: Hes seeing her as a potential leader to take over from Gregory. As well, I think he sees hope in her, and if he lost her hed have to start again. Austin Amelio, Ross Marquand and Seth Gilliam who play Dwight, Aaron and Father Gabriel respectively, also pick the characters theyd least like to see meet their grisly fates in the video above. Norman Reedus  who plays Daryl in The Walking Dead in case you need reminding  has revealed that comedian and actor Dave Chapelle has been asking for a cameo on the show. Hes keen to appear as a walker but both Reedus and Walking Dead honcho Greg Nicotero have been quick to shoot him down. Reedus says, I was like: Thats never going to happen. Nicotero admits that celebrities ask all the time for cameo roles in the show but suggests its not a road theyre likely to go down in the future. And thats despite the fact that Kiss star  Truthfully, even if we were to ever do that they would need to be completely unrecognisable because you dont want to pull the audience out of the story, he says. If all of a sudden somebody goes: Hey guess who that is? Then it kind of takes us out of the show and we never want to do that. Any time a make up or a visual effect takes you out of the show, it stops. Nicotero, who produces and directs the show, is far keener on laying Easter Eggs throughout the series than sneaking in cameos,  la shows like Game of Thrones. Recently, there was a sly homage to horror anthology series Creepshow. But what are some of Gregs favourites? We know what a huge fan of Jaws Nicotero is so the first one he mentions doesnt surprise us. It comes from the Season 5 finale. In two seasons ago finale when Daryl and Aaron are collecting license plates, we got a replica of the license plate from Jaws that they cut out of the shark and put it on one of the cars, he says. I always put little things in there for myself just kind of for fun. He hints at some others: Listen, there may have been an Alien egg in the background, there might be Freddy Kruegers claw in one And remember Johnny Depps head? Its no secret that one of the heads they found in an episode last season was modelled in Depps image. A second was also based on Nicoteros likeness.
