Als sie im letzten Teil der Geschichte von LEGO Elves nach Elvendale zurückkehrte, ist Emilys kleine Schwester Sophie ihr unbemerkt dorthin gefolgt. Zu Emilys Überraschung, die auch ein klein wenig eifersüchtig wird, lieben die Elfen Sophie. Und Sophie liebt die Elfen. Sie erkundet das Baumhaus der Elfen, entdeckt ihre magischen Kräfte und Baby-Drachen!

Doch schon bald wird Sophie von dem Goblin-König entführt - Einem Elfen, der aufgrund eines unheilvollen Amuletts böse geworden ist. Um ihre kleine Schwester befreien zu können, soll Emily dem Goblin-König ihr eigenes Amulett überreichen. Damit will er seine Mutter aus ihrem magischen Gefängnis befreien und gemeinsam mit ihr über die Welt der Menschen und der Elfen herrschen.

Zusammen mit den Elfen macht sich Emily auf die gefährliche Mission, Sophie zu befreien. Ihr Weg führt sie vorbei an tödlichen Pflanzen und gefährlichen Goblins, tief in einen mysteriösen, magischen Wald, wo sie auf Bestien mit scharfen Zähnen und gruselige Kreaturen treffen. Allen Gefahren zum Trotz gelingt es ihnen, den Goblin-König von seinen bösen Plänen abzubringen und Sophie zu befreien. 

Doch das Abenteuer geht weiter! Denn die böse Hexe Noctura macht Jagd auf die Wächter der Elemente. Mit den Kräften dieser uralten und stolzen Wesen, will sie aus der Schattenwelt entkommen, in der sie seit fast tausend Jahren festgehalten wird. Kann Emily zusammen mit den Elfen auch diese Bedrohung aufhalten, und Elvendale vor den dunklen Schatten bewahren?
