As a member of team Shady Bitches, the self-proclaimed “cheap queen” revealed how strong her dance moves were, including a handstand-turned-split in the air. RuPaul couldn’t resist Chi Chi’s charms either, crowning her the winner of the entire challenge.
And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going
Chi Chi’s face off against Thorgy Thor to Jennifer Holliday’s “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls was so iconic that it was instantly dubbed one of the best lip syncs in RuPaul’s Drag Race history. Chi Chi performed the track with so much intensity and passion that the beads on her dress eventually exploded all over the stage, only adding to the drama. Chi Chi won the lip sync — and a legion of new fans — with the performance.
High Heel Gymnastics
Something about being in the bottom two must light a fire in Chi Chi like nothing else. The queen’s lip sync against Naysha Lopez to “Call Me” was full of impressive moves from start to finish, but doing front handsprings and backflips in high heels is nothing short of jaw-dropping.
What She’s Been up to Since Her Season Ended
Chi Chi entered the workroom in a dress made of a trash bag and branded herself the “cheap queen” of Season 8. But since graduating from the show, she’s had an opportunity to travel the world performing for fans and picking up a few big paychecks along the way. The Southern queen hinted that this time she’s entering the competition with more money for sickening outfits, likely making her a force to be reckoned with on the runway.
