Considering Wonder Woman has been around for 75 years as a DC Comics commodity, it’s surprising it’s taken this long to see one of DC’s most well-known superheroes on the big screen. There are high hopes for Patty Jenkins’ take on Wonder Woman, and people have been nervous about the outcome – but early screenings of the film are garnering some very positive reactions, with some even calling it the best DC Extended Universe movie yet.
Here’s a round-up of some of the early, non-spoilery verdicts.
I can finally share my thoughts on #WonderWoman! I really loved it; it's not perfect, but its charms won me over. @GalGadot is WONDERful.

There are certainly some issues, like a mismatched 3rd act, but I'll discuss that in a longer review. Overall though, Wonder Woman rules.

Loved WONDER WOMAN. She reminds me of Christopher Reeve's Superman: true north superhero w/ no angst or cynicism, which is needed right now.

Was expecting to hate the relationship stuff, loved it. The fish out of water dynamic between Gadot and Pine make this film shine.

You can judge for yourself when Wonder Woman hits screens on June 1 in the UK and June 2 in the US.
