Dynamite Entertainment, a comic book company famous for the success of it’s all age titles Grumpy Cat and Boo: The World’s Cutest Dog, have announced a formal partnership with online game phenomena Animal Jam. The popular children’s online game will receive its own expanded comic book series.
Animal Jam is an all-ages online game developed by WildWorks, Inc that boasts over 66 million registered users worldwide. Players can collect and customize animal characters, adopt pets, build their own homes, chat with friends, and team up for special adventures. The game ranks #1 in online games for children and was named the fastest growing website in the United States.
“We are always looking for ways to expand our line of children’s titles,” says Nick Barrucci, Dynamite CEO and publisher. “We have had tremendous success with our Grumpy Cat program, and most recently, Boo: The World’s Cutest Dog. We knew Animal Jam would be perfect to follow-up Dynamite’s previous success with bringing an online sensation to the printed page.”
