Hungry for more Suicide Squad footage? We are. Thanks to director David Ayer, we know that we won’t have to go hungry much longer. Earlier today, Ayer tweeted that a new trailer will premiere this coming Tuesday, January 19, at 9:30 PM EST on The CW.
Ayer also revealed a really fun and funky teaser poster, featuring stylized skulls of all the members of the Squad.
There’s some cool detail here — I love Joker‘s upside-down nose and Bat-symbol mouth, and I dig the cracked green texture on Killer Croc. To refresh your memory on how this film is shaping up, here’s last year’s SDCC trailer, begrudgingly released by Warner Bros. after it got bootlegged in Hall H. I think it’s a great trailer, focusing on character over spectacle. They’re gonna have a hard time topping it on Tuesday.
