After a series of Twitter teases, Capcom has finally revealed that the Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 is en route and heading to consoles and PC later this year. The Mega Man Legacy 2 Collection bundles together the four latest adventures of the iconic Blue Bomber: Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10.

The compilation will be available digitally on August 8 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
However, despite the exciting news, there’s just one thing missing for fans and that’s a Nintendo Switch version.
What about Switch?

We’re assuming that the four Mega Man titles will arrive on the Nintendo Switch via the virtual console system, which is still under wraps at present. Hopefully, we’ll hear more at E3 2017 in just over a week.
For those not in the know, all four of these Mega Man games are side-scrolling adventures, with Mega Man 7 introducing the mysterious rival Bass and his companion Treble and Mega Man 8 is famous for its beautifully animated cutscenes.
Then you had Mega Man 9, which took us back to basics with 8-bit visuals, music and gameplay, and then Mega Man 10 took that and ran with it by adding three playable character options.
It’s certainly an exciting compilation that really rounds out the retro Mega Man offerings, it’s just a shame that the title is currently missing a Nintendo release.
