Comedic gorefest Ash vs Evil Dead is back for a third season exclusively on Stan, bringing with it some new faces — including the daughter Ash never knew he had. So before you jump back into the show, check out these quick primers on which characters are on Team Ash and which are on Team Deadite.
Ash
The ultimate chainsaw-wielding antihero, Ash Williams is trying to save the world from evil.
“Ashy Slashy” has gone from zero to hero, with the residents of Elk Grove finally coming to appreciate him. Now, Ash faces brand new challenges, not just from Ruby and the Deadites, but from his own offspring.
Ruby
Ruby initially pursued Ash claiming that he caused the supernatural massacre of her family over 30 years ago.
Turns out that was a lie and she’s actually one of The Dark Ones. But for someone who wrote the freakin’ Necronomicon, she wasn’t all that bad. However, an alternate version of Ruby is back and she’s eviler than ever.
Kelly
Orphaned in Season 1, Kelly was once a mere trainee, working alongside Ash at the ValueStop.
Now, she’s a Deadite-dispatching badass. Kelly used to be a sweet girl but went all hardcore after what the Deadites did to her loved ones. With her family destroyed, she turned to Ash and Pablo for revenge.
Pablo
Originally trained to become a Brujo, a Honduran shaman, Pablo is Ash’s most loyal friend.
Now, Pablo is embracing his destiny, Kandarian dagger in hand, and fighting alongside Ash to beat the Deadites back to hell.
Brandy
Brandy Barr is Ash’s long-lost teenaged daughter with a woman named Candy Barr (yup!).
She’s a high school student who gets mixed up in the fight against evil, becoming a target of Ruby and the Deadites and making things even more complicated for Ash.
So buckle up, blowhards. Season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead premieres 26 February only on Stan.
