The developers behind Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 announced a slew of new characters that will be playable in-game when it launches next month.
The new characters showcased at a panel during New York Comic Con 2017 include:
- Grand Master and Valkyrie from Thor: Ragnarok
- Arizona Annie from Marvel’s Wild West arc, added because the Wild West is featured in the game
- Captain Avalon from the 1990s miniseries
- Squirrel Girl, Chipmunk Hunk, and Koi Boy
- Luke Cage, Noir version
- Blade
- Dormammu
- Phantom Rider
- Morpheus
- Ghost Rider, with his cycle
- Red Wolf
- Ursa Major
- Hobgoblin
- Charlie 27, from the original Guardians of the Galaxy (part of a DLC pack)
- Hulk 299
- Lady Spider, from the Spiderverse event
- Hellcow
The game will also have additional DLC packs inspired by current Marvel properties across televiosn and film, including Black Panther, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Infinity War, Runaways, Cloak and Dagger, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Squirrel Girl.
Actor Peter Serafinowicz was also on hand during the panel. He plays Kang the Conquerer in Lego Marvel Superheroes 2. During the panel we watched footage of a massive giant-sized Kang destroying a city and issuing a one-on-one challenge to Captain America.
Lego Marvel Superheroes 2 will launch on November 14 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
