In case it’s escaped your notice, today is Star Wars Day. It’s May the 4th – the day in the year that Star Wars fans have claimed as their own. It’s a day to celebrate Star Wars. Once upon a time several years ago, some bright spark realised that ‘May the Fourth’ sounded a bit like ‘May the force’. Henceforth, the phrase ‘May the Fourth be with you’ was born – and spread like wildfire.
May the Fourth became an annual celebration of all things Star Wars. And once again this year, the internet is getting involved. Check out these social posts from Star Wars fans both well-known and not so well-known, and give yourself something to smile about. Oh, and May the Fourth be with you.
The force is with this cat who is so handy with a lightsaber, she takes on a couple of dogs with one in each paw. The clip is so good, even comic book legend Mark Millar re-tweeted it:
Good Morning ! @promorama39
