There’s a lot going on with DC, Warner Bros. and their attempt to bring the Justice League to the big screen. The team is coming together. After all, Zack Snyder’s film is titled Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Justice is certainly dawning.
Today we saw a surprising reveal of the heroes of the Justice League. The image below was posted on an official Facebook page for DC Films. It’s not an actual photo, rather concept art, but it gives us a good look at the cinematic Justice League. Most tellingly, you are able to see Cyborg and The Flash for the first time. It’s hard to tell but it seems Flash’s costume is slightly changed from the comics, whereas Cyborg looks pretty traditional. Not a lot of detail given sadly (darn lens flare!) but it’s a tantalizing taste of things to come.
Dawn of the Justice League is the name of the TV special debuting tonight on the CW. So fear not, that’s not the title for the first JL film, due in 2017.
What will DC reveal tonight in that special? Probably this image but hopefully some other exclusive things and a better sense of what the first Justice League film will be like. Even if we don’t learn much tonight, we’ll definitely get a much clearer vision when the pieces start coming together after Batman V Superman’s debut.
