The Arms Global Testpunch is currently underway and is going on at specific dates and times until next weekend. And it seems the unusual fighting game, available exclusively on Nintendo Switch, is proving to be quite the hit with fans.
Arms sees you taking control of a cast of colourful and very adorable fighters all enhanced with extendable arms that can be used to attack and grab foes from great distances.
The Arms Global Testpunch is giving people a chance to try the game’s online multiplayer Party Mode, which gives you a taster of various game styles from 1v1, 2v2 and all out brawls.
Those taking part in the Global Testpunch have taken to Twitter to share their enthusiasm for Arms, which is definitely on track to be the next big Nintendo Switch game.
#ARMS I have to say, ARMS has really impressed me with how fun it is. Its motion controls are spot on, and feel so satisfying to use.

It’s partly the characters of Arms that gives this game real personality. Whether it’s the warping Ninjara, the mech-wearing Mechanica or the current favourite Min Min, there are plenty to choose from, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
What’s also great is that you can customise each characters according to your preferred style of play, equipping them with different arms to give them different powers. Spring Man, for example, has plenty of arms to choose from including the ‘Toaster’, ‘Boomerang’ and ‘Tribolt’. What they actually do we’ll leave up to you to find out.
