Spoiler alert: This post contains spoilers from the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 10. Proceed with caution.
The latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race found the six remaining queens performing in a parody of the HBO hit drama Westworld and it was a master class in mediocrity.
To be fair, no one was horrible and any of the contestants would have been safe if they gave these performances earlier in the season with less polished queens still around. But, despite some strong moments from the top three of the week, there was nothing that really popped or managed to deliver an audible laugh from viewers.
Aquaria actually did the best work of the night, making it clear that no matter how many times she proves she is funny on this show, it is always going to come as a surprise. If it wasn’t for her “age inappropriate” runway look, she surely would have ended up as the winner.

Even still, Asia did a good job as Parah Sailin and her win was a nice redemption from the rough past two weeks that she’s had. Monet also had a good week, but she desperately needed a win to make her feel like a real contender, so just being safe probably stung.
But what we’re really here to discuss is the lip sync between the bottom two contestants: Eureka and Kameron Michaels. After heartfelt performances from both queens, RuPaul decided to save them both from elimination. But was the lip sync really good enough to warrant a double save?

Think back to past lip syncs in which Ru kept both queens around: Alyssa vs. Roxxxy in Season 5. Alyssa vs. Tatianna in All Stars 2. These were performances that blew viewers’ minds and in which it felt like a travesty to call anyone a loser. But something about this week’s lip sync just didn’t pack the same punch.
If you head to Twitter, the Drag Race fandom seems to think it was a case of “riggamorris” — suggesting that Kameron was the real winner but producers didn’t want Eureka to go so they decided to keep them both.
Personally, I’m a fan of Eureka — a sentiment that doesn’t seem to be shared by many in the Twittersphere — so I’m happy she gets to stick around for another week. And I also don’t think her Breastworld performance would warrant her to go home in any way. (Although her lazy look on the runway is a different story.) But while the lackluster episode benefitted from a little twist, it didn’t feel like it was fully justified.
It’s undeniable that both queens turned it out, but was it worthy of a double save? Unfortunately for Eureka, it looks like it’s just fueling the flames for her haters. Here’s what fans think.
Eureka was saved…. Ru had a double shanty this whole time …….He could of used it on Blair or Monique…. but he chose to save eureka… Eureka….the contest that has done the same thing this whole season….. #DragRace

The bandwagon hate for Eureka is ridiculous duh Kameron won the lipsync that's why Ru called her name first but if you think Eureka didn't turn it you're crazy #Dragrace pic.twitter.com/Y2I57xxdSh
