Spoiler alert: This post contains spoilers from Episode 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 3. Proceed with caution.
We’ve officially cut the number of All Stars contestants in half after losing Aja in the Andy Warhol-inspired challenge this week, bringing us one step closer to finding out who will take the coveted crown.
The latest episode ended with Chad and Alaska returning in their handmaid outfits in preparation to finally reveal how the eliminated queens would be getting their revenge this season. If producers did their job right, it will hopefully be a twist that none of us saw coming and that majorly shakes up the competition.
But for now, we’re going to continue our weekly power rankings of the remaining queens based on the latest challenge and the season overall. Let us know if you agree with our opinions, and may the best woman win!
6. Aja
Many fans pegged Aja as the first to be eliminated in All Stars 3, but she won the first challenge with a jaw-dropping lip sync in the variety show. And while she’s continued to impress and gain new fans each week, she never really had another powerful moment in a challenge since episode one. Although it would have been great to continue to see her grow, she did deserve to go in comparison to Shangela based on overall season stats.
5. Kennedy Davenport
When Kennedy won a challenge this season, she won hard. Her performance as The Party Girl in the Bitchelor challenge will go down as one of the great comedic performances in Drag Race history and it helped her prove she deserved her spot in the All Stars cast. Overall, however, she’s found herself in the bottom more often than she’s been in the top. With only five queens left in the game, those stats ultimately mean she should be the next to go.
4. Bebe Zahara Bonet
After being consistently underwhelming week after week, Bebe desperately needed a win to help maintain her legacy as the OG Drag Race winner. She finally got it this week, beating Trixie Mattel in a lip sync to a Diana Ross song. (Bebe already performed as Ms. Ross earlier in the season, so many fans are saying it’s a case of “Rigga morris!” because it was slanted in her favor.) Either way, she won the challenge and secured her place in the game. But now that the online rumors that she was a mole in the workroom, secretly working for RuPaul this whole time, don’t seem to be coming to fruition, she still has more to prove in order to earn a spot in the Top 3.
3. Trixie Mattel
Trixie struggled to make an impact in the first half of the season and then almost was eliminated after failing in Snatch Game last week. But the fan favorite finally landed in the Top 2 after the Art Pop Ball and reminded us all that she deserves her previous frontrunner status. If she can keep this momentum, she’ll be able to earn her spot in the Top 3.
2. Shangela
Shangela had her first stumble of the season this week after two months of sewing classes failed to help her create a decent ’70s look for the runway. Even still, it was her first time in the bottom after already landing two wins in previous episodes. As long as she lands back on top next week, the loss should not be enough to strip her of a well-deserved spot in the final three.
1. BenDeLaCreme
DeLa winning four challenges in a row definitely has its downsides. Now, a week in which she does a great job but doesn’t win somehow seems like she actually failed. Either way, it’s going to take a lot more than one “safe” week to pull her away from her position in the top slot. But with her reign of success making her eventual win kind of predictable, will the twist presented by Chad and Alaska be the thing to knock her off her throne?
