Deep Space Settlement, a real-time strategy game set in the depths of space, is currently in development and now available for pre-order. The game’s developers, Escape Velocity Studios, have been working tirelessly on the game since 2011, and the game was Greenlit by the Steam Community earlier this year. Gamepedia has partnered with the developers to provide you with the Official Deep Space Settlement Wiki, the premiere source for all game-related information.
In Deep Space Settlement, you are part of a multi-generational mission to explore and colonize the distant areas of space. In your journey, you encounter a resource-rich star cluster, a seemingly perfect site for settlement. You’ll build your empire, grow your economy, customize your ships and stations, and defend your colony from invaders. The game can be played in both single and multiplayer modes, and it is available in story and sandbox modes as well. Deep Space Settlement has high modding capabilities, allowing players to change or replace content through XML and game logic through API.
By pre-ordering the game, you’ll receive exclusive access to the initial milestone release and play an integral part in providing feedback for the development team. The developers are extremely passionate about Deep Space Settlement, and their goal is to create one of the best 4X RTS games available.
